Who Should Enroll
Clinical Research Associate Training Entry Requirements:
The relevant degree subject area is life and medical sciences. In particular, the following subjects:
- Biochemistry
- Anatomy
- Biology
- Biomedical Science
- Dentistry
- Microbiology
- Medicine
- Nursing
- Immunology
- Molecular Biology
- Toxicology
- Physiology
- Pharmacology
- Pharmacy
Therefore, applicants for the Clinical Research Associate Training Program are recommended to have one of the following:
- Bachelor's, Masters, or a Ph.D. in a Science or Allied Health Field
- Healthcare Professional (e.g. RN, PA, MD, PT, RPh, PharmD, or Medical Technologist)
- Entry without a degree is unlikely.
The ever-tightening government regulations on the licensing of new drugs and re-licensing of existing drugs means that the need for CRAs is increasing.
